Current Position

Rainer Planinc was born in Vienna and received the PhD degree in 2015 and the MSc. (Dipl.-Ing.) in Media Informatics as well as his MSocEcSc. (Mag.) in Computer Science Management in 2010. Currently he is working as a senior researcher at the Computer Vision Lab (Vienna University of Technology). His main research interests are in the field of vision based AAL (Ambient/Active Assisted Living) technologies as well as the analysis of behavior.
